A few months later, little Isabelle was born. She made a lasting impression on me during her newborn session. She was the first little newborn to have an “accident” on my hand and to this day has yet to apologize. I won’t hold it against her though since she’s so cute.
I’ve recently relocated to Ancaster and one of the difficulties with that is finding new locations. I had a few really good fall/winter locations out in Stoney Creek. After a bit of location scouting, I was lucky enough to come across a wonderful patch of pine trees, perfect for a winter family session. This is the beauty of the Hamilton area, there is always amazing green space in every neighborhood. The evergreens made for a great backdrop and really set the scene.
Today’s shoot was a bit of a challenge as the weather had dipped for the first time this season. It was only a few degrees above zero. Everyone in the O’Hagan clan excitedly braved the frigid temperatures. It definitely added to the winter theme. Thankfully the sun peaked out for a few moments to spread a little warmth and as a byproduct gave me some great lighting. Unfortunately the sun left us but made way for a gentle snowfall. I couldn’t have asked for a better scene.
I am quite proud of how this series turned out. Everyone should be on the lookout for the O’Hagan Christmas card this year. Hopefully I’m lucky enough to get one.
